I want to take a moment and wish a Happy Thanksgiving to all of you that visit the Atelier .
I had a very nice day, Mike (dh) smoked both chickens and turkey…oh, oh good. We had all the trimmings and we spent time cooking and baking together. The cooking aromas took me back to my Grandmother’s kitchen and me as a little helper. I’m sure the good smells were similar to those coming from your homes as well. It was great to host the family dinner, we had 10 folks. Of course Mom and Mike graced the two heads of the table. Our holiday china came out and will be used until 12th night (Epiphany). The table was beautiful.
I did not have time to stamp today but I am using a card I made last year and never posted. It was cased from someone on SCS though I don’t know her name. I used hand made paper to stamp and the SU special set from last year. The image was colored using a mixture of pencils and watercolors. The sentiment is stamped in Old Olive and the ribbon is also from SU. It is all mounted on white cardstock. Simple, but then sometimes less is more.
I hope each of you had a great day! I have so much to be thankful for and I am truly grateful to God for all the blessing that have been bestowed on me.
