This is a sad day for our little lady…her love is nowhere ’round and there ain’t no sunshine when he’s gone…..
Very early this morning in the wee small hours of the day I saw the color challenge on SCS. The colors are
Yellow Yellow
Going Gray
Basic Gray……hummm, I’m thinking, but nothing is working…so off to bed–where I should have gone hours before.
The minutes turned to hours..so I’m up again…the lyrics from a song are in my mind…”Ain’t no sunshine when she’s gone”.
OK , I pull out the papers…the Open to Love..she sometimes seems to be longing for her love. I stamped the image…and began to color…but I am just too tired to really accomplish anything.
I have really struggled all day to complete this card..it is 10:33pm and I have just finished it..I am not so pleased, but you are just going to have to suffer with me on this card…
I meet the color challenge..she is sad…but this is just not my style, however the sentiment and feeling is certainly transmitted…
Well, thanks for looking over my shoulder tonight…even if it’s not my typical post….ain’t no sunshine!

It certainly does get the point across. I feel so sorry for her! Well done! Very creative results from just a color challenge. Even if it did take all day and night to finally come together…..don’t cha just hate it when that happens?

Agree with Tara – that’s going to be me tomorrow when I get to work!! Yellow isn’t a colour I use a lot but it really gives that card some zing!
